Hilltop Manor - Hot Springs Wedding Photo On A Cold Winter Day

Hot Springs, Arkansas - Winter Wonderland?

The weather in Hot Springs today is the type to shut down the town which very rarely happens. With rain turning to sleet the roads are slippery and drivers must be cautious. Thank goodness all of our guests were able to arrive safe and sound to Hilltop Manor Bed and Breakfast.
I would like to congratulate our Hot Springs wedding couple Mr. & Mrs. Adkins. Not only did they brave the roads but they also braved the cold weather to get some shots by the waterfall while icicles made it all sparkle.
I noticed most of the guests took a chance to wander the winter wonderland that is very rarely seen in Hot Springs, AR. I to had to get a few shots.
A glimpse of Hot Spring's history with a photo of the spring house and the 150 year old rock walls which hold so many secrets to the past at Hilltop Manor.

A few chairs just wait for a present day couple to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

Perhaps we were all willing to hazard the chilling wind because we knew that once back inside we'd wander to one of the fireplaces for the peaceful glow you feel as you warm up from the cold.

There is plenty to do in Hot Springs, Arkansas even during the winter. Oaklawn Park has live horse racing Thursday thru Sunday until April. Garvan Woodland Gardens will reopen in February with Daffodil Days shortly to follow. What better way to spend an afternoon then the Hot Springs Mineral water at the Quapaw Bathhouse.

Come and visit Hilltop Manor Bed and Breakfast in Hot Springs, Arkansas for your honeymoon, anniversary, or romantic getaway. I hope to see you soon.

Hot Spring's Wedding Idea - Save the Date Stickers

Hilltop Manor Bed & Breakfast is a great place to have your wedding.
However, no matter where you have your wedding this is a great, simple, and low cost idea - SAVE THE DATE STICKERS. No, I didn't come up with this, Martha Stewart did and it is from her website. Basically if you can print a label on your computer you can print "Save the Date" on the same or similar labels. Then just cut a row of 3 or so and attach them to the card you are sending out to your guests with a glue stick. It is a great way for them to quickly add you to the calendar on their wall. So take a look and check it out.

Don't forget to take a look at our wedding packages if you are thinking of getting married in Hot Springs. We would love to "Save Your Date" at our inn.

Another wedding at Hilltop Manor this weekend. Congratulations Tammy & Jeffrey!

We wish you all an incredible Christmas!

Hilltop Manor - Awarded "Best in the Midwest"

Stars of Arkansas Lodging
Two Hot Springs Inns Receive National Recognition

Hot Springs, Arkansas (Oct.5, 2009) – Hilltop Manor Bed & Breakfast of Hot Springs was selected as the Best B&B in the Midwest U.S., and Ray & Kristie Rosset of Lookout Point Lakeside Inn of Hot Springs, were selected as Innkeepers of the Year in the United States. In the annual Best of BedandBreakfast.com Awards, 2009-2010, these two Hot Springs B&B/Inns received these prestigious national awards. The Best of BedandBreakfast.com Awards are based upon a qualitative and quantitative review of the nearly 50,000 independent reviews submitted to BedandBreakfast.com, the leading online B&B directory and reservation network worldwide.

"BedandBreakfast.com surveys show that independent reviews are the most important factor when choosing a B&B. In fact, according to BedandBreakfast.com's most recent survey, 96% of consumers consider reviews to be somewhere between important and essential when selecting a place to stay, and 12% will not make a reservation at a property without them. We're delighted that inngoers concur that Hilltop Manor B&B and Lookout Point Lakeside Inn are deserving of these accolades from travelers," explained BedandBreakfast.com's Sandy Soule, one of the most highly recognized authors and a spokeswoman for the B&B industry. "Clearly, both Hilltop Manor and Lookout Point earned stellar reviews from inngoers for quality accommodations, breakfasts, amenities, and wonderful hospitality and service," commented Soule.
"It's a true honor to be chosen as the “Best in the Midwest”! I always tell people that we have great guests,” stated Faith Kraemer, owner and innkeeper of Hilltop Manor. “I was thrilled to hear that our guests think that Hilltop Manor Bed & Breakfast is an exceptional inn, and touched that they were willing to take the time to let others know,” commented Kraemer. “Here’s an excerpt from one of our reviews: I’ve stayed at B&B’s all over the country and Hilltop Manor is by far the best. I feel pampered here, very private, gourmet food, and excellent accommodations! I’ve stayed four times already and will be back.”

“Oh my goodness! What an honor!” exclaimed Kristie Rosset upon learning of the Innkeeper of the Year Award. “Excellent hospitality and comprehensive pampering are a way of life for us. We are humbled to be honored by our guests in this way, and so grateful.“ As one guest reviewed on the BedandBreakfast.com site: The pictures are beautiful, but they do not tell the whole story. The Inn experience appeals to all of your senses: The sounds of birds and waterfalls, the smell of different flowers as you walk the grounds, the delicious food. We will be back!”

When Kraemer, with husband Bob, moved to Hot Springs to remodel their historic Arts & Crafts home as a B&B, she and the Rosset’s became fast friends. Anchoring the luxury lodging of Hot Springs with Hilltop Manor on the north edge of town, and Lookout Point on the south edge on Lake Hamilton, the two friends often refer travelers to each other’s inn. Both inns and innkeepers share many traits: an excellent attention to detail, creative gourmet breakfasts elegantly presented, leadership in the B&B industry (Kraemer and both Rossets have been Presidents of the state association), pampering for guests, luxurious rooms, plus a love of the Arts & Crafts style of architecture. Guests will not find even one doillie or piece of Victorian furniture in these inns.

After hearing about the Rosset’s award, Kraemer explained “Being chosen as Best Innkeepers speaks volumes for Ray & Kristie’s graciousness and hospitality. Lookout Point was created by our friends, whom we are delighted to have as mentors, colleagues and competitors.”

“As delighted as we are about our award, we are even more thrilled to see Hilltop Manor B&B recognized for the exceptional property that our friends created. As innkeepers, we are extremely picky about lodging. We heartily refer travelers to Hilltop Manor, and recently held a staff retreat at this beautiful inn!” commented Ray Rosset.

Hilltop Manor is a perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. This historic 1890 Craftsman manor home has been restored to classic elegance with five well appointed Suites, with king beds, fireplaces, and Jacuzzi tubs. The five acre estate, nestled in the National Park Forest, is ideal for hiking or bird watching. The B&B is a perfect wedding destination or confidential corporate retreat.
